Sun!  What a treat to come into the studio this morning, where the sun was beaming in through every window!  Camille and I missed each other yet again as she was out of town so I was set loose in the studio on my own.  Luckily I remembered how to work the equipment after being away for six weeks.  There was so much great music to choose from after being away for so long.  Thanks for listening and I hope you enjoyed this week's selections!

Playlist for May 31, 2010

The most difficult thing about today's show was ascending and descending the three flights of stairs that lead to the CFCR studio; my post half-marathon thigh muscles protested slightly, but in the name of music I made it!  Picking the music was the easy part; there are lots of recent and upcoming new releases - I recommend starting with the new Blitzen Trapper and The Black Keys albums.  Because Janelle was not in attendance, I got away with sticking in an entirely French set...that's what you get when you desert me in favour of a canoe trip.  I hope everyone enjoys the impending sun promised to us this week!
